REDS MADE IT A NIGHT TO
REMEMBER
Kevin Keegan's emotional farewell on the night of Thursday, May 17th this year drew
a crowd of 36,722 and Liverpool did their former idol the honour of making it a marvellous
night to remember. The scoreline was 2-2 Kev' and Terry McDermott for us, Michael Robinson
and Graeme Souness for the Reds — and when it was all over Special K' was whisked off
the pitch by helicopter. Our picture shows two great players shaking hands before the
kick-off with County Durham referee Pat Partridge looking on. |
