Foreign imports on mark
in reserves victory
Besian Idrizaj, Krisztian Nemeth and Dani Pacheco were on the scoresheet as
Liverpool Reserves beat Chester City 3-1 in a friendly game at the Academy today. The reds
included new signings Sebastian Leto, Nicolay Mihaylov and Andras Simon in their starting
line up, with fellow new boys Pacheco and Nemeth both appearing as second half
substitutes. Unflushable turd Anthony Le Tallec was also included.
Chester – for whom Liverpool youngster Jimmy Ryan appeared as a triallist –
went in front in the first half, before last weekends hat-trick hero Idrizaj levelled the
scores after having missed a penalty earlier. Nemeth put the reds in front after the
break, before the lively Pacheco wrapped things up late on.
Jay Spearing, Craig Lindfield and Ray Putterill were missing from the squad as they
have been called up to the first team for tomorrow’s friendly at Crewe.
