FLYNN AT THE DOUBLE IN
RESERVES WIN
Scotland youth starlet Ryan Flynn scored twice as Liverpool Reserves beat Norwegian
side Kvik Halden 5-1 on their pre-season tour of Scandinavia.
Flynn also set up Argentina ace Emiliano Insua to score. Craig Lindfield and Jordy
Brouwer added the Reds other goal while Jay Spearing was outstanding in central midfield.
Liverpool Reserves manager Gary Ablett told Liverpoolfc.tv: "We played some
really good football and scored five good goals, but we should have won by a lot more.
"We created enough chances to have won three games, never mind the one. It was
difficult conditions as the grass was long but once we got to grips with that we did very
well." |
