Liverpool Reserves are through to the final of the
Liverpool Senior Cup after a 1-0 win over Prescot Cables thanks to an extra-time winner
from Spanish ace Daniel Pacheco.
Gary Ablett's side made it tough for themselves against resilient opponents but
Pacheco's goal sets up a final with Marine at College Road next Thursday night (April 24).
The match was delayed at the start due to a healthy crowd of 1,387 with supporters
wanting to catch a glimpse of Ablett's champions.
The Reds fielded a strong team against the Unibond outfit including Damien Plessis
in midfield.
