PROFILE
Phil Charnock became a record holder when he made his debut for Liverpool against
Apollon Limassol on the 16th of September 1992. He was the club's youngest player to ever
appear in a European match, aged 17 years and 7 months. Jamie Redknapp's record was
literally history, a record he had broken approximately a year earlier. Knee injuries have
hampered his career of late, causing him to miss a year with injury at Linfield.
