PROFILE
Liverpool snapped up winger Ryan Crowther in August 2007.
The youngster arrived from Stockport County, where he spent nine years learning his
trade.
Crowther made two senior appearances at Edgeley Park, including one as captain.
Aged just 17, it made him the youngest skipper in the club's history.
Liverpool came in shortly afterwards and the wide-man didn't hesitate to move west.
"It was a massive opportunity for me to move to a club like this," he
says. "There were a couple of other options but as soon as I found out about
Liverpool's interest, that was the only move for me."
Crowther trains at Melwood with Gary Ablett and the reserves.
