PROFILE
Born in South Africa, Hugh played six League matches for Liverpool as a half-back
during the latter stages of the 1952-53 season. He made his debut at Middlesbrough on 7th
February 1953 and played in the next 4 matches as well but was only called on once more
before the season ended, the last of his 6 appearances coming in a 0-4 defeat at Cardiff
City on 6th April 1953.
