PROFILE
A forward who played in the last 9 league matches of the 1931-32 First Division
campaign and made one more appearance the following season. He made his debut on 28th
March 1932 when Huddersfield Town won 3-0 at Anfield and his final appearance was as part
of the team beaten by Middlesbrough at Anfield on 2nd February 1933. In between those two
defeats, Edmund had scored twice, an 88th minute winner against Chelsea at Anfield on 6th
April and the first goal in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal, also at Anfield, three days later.
