  PROFILE

Alastair was a wing-half who made 5 appearances for Liverpool during the 1931-32 First Division season. Tom Morrison was the club's regular right-half at the time, but Henderson replaced him for 4 successive matches in the autumn before Morrison came back into the side. Alastair's only other first-team game for the Reds came towards the end of the season, taking over from left-half Jimmy McDougall when Portsmouth were Liverpool's visitors on 23rd April 1932.
