PROFILE
Liverpool signed Charles Itandje from Lens in August 2007, but he rarely featured
in his three years at the club.
The Frenchman was brought in as cover for Pepe Reina, and his first chance to impress came
on September 25, 2007 when he started in a 4-2 Carling Cup victory over Reading.
However, opportunities proved limited, and Itandje slumped further down the pecking order.
The stopper joined Kavala FC on a season-long loan deal in August 2009 before being
released by Liverpool in December 2010.
