PROFILE
Joe Kennedy is a strong and powerful centre half who will captain the Under-18 team
this season.
Under-18s manager Hughie McAuley said: "Joe is a local lad and the captain. He
came a long way in his first year with us last season. His game improved tremendously last
season and he is very quick for his size.
"This year he can push on and hopefully he will do very well at Under-18 level
and after that who knows where that will take him.
"Joe works hard in training every day and there is a real honesty about his
game. He always tries hard and gives 100 per cent. He is an example to the young players
here both in terms of attitude and behavior on and off the field."
