STAFF PROFILE
One of the newest members of the club's medical staff, Felix joined Liverpool in
October 2007 following a five-year spell with Spanish outfit CF Extremadura.
He arrived at Liverpool after being recommended to boss Rafael Benitez by a mutual
acquaintance and his primary role involves working with the reserve team where he focuses
on trying to prevent and reduce injuries to the squad.
"It is wonderful to be at a club like Liverpool," he said.
"It is a dream to be able to work with such professionals and I am proud to
have the opportunity to learn at one of the best clubs in the world."
After earning a diploma in physiotherapy at the University of Extremadura in 2000
he worked with football and volleyball youth teams and a non-league side called CD
Fornacense before moving to his first professional club at CF Extremadura in 2002.
During his spell there he collaborated with the Almendralejo's basketball side.
He is now working towards a Masters in osteotherapy and regards the highlight of
his Liverpool career as the reserves' national title success in 2008.
