Season 2002-03  Alex Miller is a first team coach at Liverpool, a position he took up following Rafael Benitez's appointment as manager before the start of the 2004-05 season.

  Formerly the club's Director of Scouting under previous boss Gerard Houllier, Miller is now much more involved on the training field and works closely with Rafael Benitez and the first team.

  A typical day for Alex includes helping plan the training session of a morning and then working with players on an individual basis if necessary later in the day.

  Miller is a fully qualified European licensed coach. He spent 17 years coaching with Glasgow Rangers and also had a spell as manager of Aberdeen.

Season 2004-05  Miller was also manager at St Mirren and Hibernian, whom he led to the Scottish League Cup.
