PROFILE
Morrissey came through the junior ranks at Anfield before signing professional
forms in May 1957 11 days after his 17th birthday. He played in the same position as Alan
A' Court on the outside-left so his first-team possibilities were quite limited. He
eventually moved across to Goodison where he was quite successful winning the Championship
and FA Cup. |
