STAFF PROFILE
Jose Ochotorena - or 'Ocho' as he is now known at Anfield - is the club's
goalkeeping coach who came to the club in July 2004.
Ochotorena previously coached the goalkeepers at Rafael Benitez's former club
Valencia and is currently also goalkeeper coach for the Spanish national side.
Ocho played a crucial role in Liverpool's Champions League final success over AC
Milan in Istanbul as, a few days before the match, he asked a contact to send a video of
the Italian giants taking part in a penalty shoot-out.
Goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek was therefore well briefed on what to expect and the rest,
as they say, is history? |
