PROFILE
Damien Plessis is a holding midfielder who arrived from Lyon in August 2007.
Tall but cultured, the French youngster played an integral role as Gary Ablett's
reserves won the league title in 2007-08.
He has a number of first-team appearances to his name following a shock debut at
the Emirates on April 5, 2008.
In October 2009, Plessis signed a new contract to keep him at Anfield until 2012.
