PROFILE
Fred made 3 league appearances for Liverpool in the
last full season before the outbreak of the First World War. His debut came in a crushing
1-4 home defeat by Sheffield Wednesday on the 4th of October 1913. He missed the next five
games but returned for consecutive matches against Preston & Newcastle in November of
the same year. Fred originally made his name at 1st division Birstol City where he played
134 games in 4 years. |
