PROFILE
Danish striker Nikola Saric made the move to Merseyside in July 2008.
The teenager is honing his immense natural talent in the reserves after Liverpool
beat a host of European clubs, including Barcelona, to his signature.
Saric, who grew up a refugee in Denmark after his family fled war-torn Bosnia,
arrived from Herfolge, where he made three league appearances.
He's represented the Danes at U16, U17 and U18 level. Indeed, the Danish Football
Association voted him their 2007 U17 Player of the Year.
