 Stuart Welsh hails from
Liverpool and looks after massages for the first team players on match days and during the
week.
A former masseur at Wigan Athletic FC, Stuart helped out with the first team and
reserves before his move to Anfield came about during the summer of 2002.
It was a life long ambition of Stuart's to be involved in football and, after
taking various courses, he started work at Wigan Athletic on a part-time and then
full-time basis.
A Liverpool fan all his life, Stuart saw the post advertised and after being
successful with his application he was delighted to accept his 'dream job'.
A typical day for Stuart involves working with the first team during training at
Melwood and then giving a massage to players who require one.
Said Stuart: "If you love football, which I do, then this is the best job in
