Notes:
- The second time when Liverpool's opposition score two own-goals.
- Phil Holman: "The 4-0 win v Everton was my FIRST game at Anfield, standing
on the Kop. The ticket cost me 30p!!! I remember it all so clearly; a Koppite belting out
a new song "Bye Bye Harry Catterick Bye Bye" (to American Pie) and everybody
"learning it", the first OG by Tommy Wright after just 30 seconds at the Annie
Road end and the Kop going crazy. How could I fail to be grabbed by the whole thing? Still
a season ticket holder 40 years on!" |
