PROFILE
Nathaniel Phillips arrived at the Academy just before the start of the 2016-17
season following a successful trial.
A towering centre-back, he previously came through the youth ranks at Bolton
Wanderers.
Nat is a very brave defender who will put his body on the line for the team cause.
After missing a large part of 2017-18 through a back injury, the defender returned
to enjoy a strong end to the campaign.
Neil Critchley awarded him the captain's armband at U23 level and he also trained
regularly with the first-team squad at Melwood.
